PRINCIPAL COACH, FACILITATOR & MEDIATOR
Susie Manson
The Principal of Coaching Commitment, Susie Manson, has spent many years amassing the skills needed to fulfil her obligations to clients.
Throughout her working life Susie has been called upon to be an active listener, to question, investigate and ultimately to make sound judgements. Working in pressured environments her calm composure and organisational skills – with both people and tasks – enable her to appreciate the pressures her clients are experiencing.
Often working in sensitive situations, Susie has been called upon to provide an insight to others’ predicaments. These skills will assist her clients to uncover some empowering outcomes.
She has invested time and energy to understand the theoretical side of people and business but is proud of her ability to distill the theory with the practical in order to help clients reach thoughtful, realistic outcomes. The client may benefit via an individual coaching engagement, from a strategic pathway being uncovered through effective group facilitation or with mediation leading to the satisfactory resolution of a long-running dispute.
Susie brings experience in international investment markets. She has inspired investors, worked in academia, with corporates and family businesses and gained a unique appreciation on how to navigate political landscapes. Her skill set is equally effective for clients facing a positive outlook as it is for those experiencing more challenging circumstances or facing a seemingly intractable situation. She knows that working with people is usually most rewarding, is often demanding but always satisfying.
Over the years Susie has gained a Bachelor of Economics, Certificate IV Workplace and Business Coaching, a Graduate Diploma in International Business, an MBA and a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Advisor Member of Family Business Australia, a nationally accredited mediator and an accredited member of LEADR. She maintains her community interests as a volunteer English language tutor for AMES (Adult Migrants English Services) and mentoring younger professionals seeking to enter a life of public service.
